Our History

Our company was first established in 1969 as DODOO LOBBAN & Co, as one of the premier local accounting firms in Ghana. In 1979, the name was changed to LOBBAN HYDE and CO following the retirement of one of the partners. In 1987, the operating name LOBBAN HYDE and CO was made dormant following the retirement of a second partner. Subsequently, the name of the company has been amended to reflect its business association with other firms and the entry and exit of new partners.

In August 2011, the firm emerged from a reorganization and branding drive to permanently re-adopt its well-known name LOBBAN HYDE & CO. The new partners are Joe Hyde Jr and Philip Aryee in addition to J. N. A. Hyde Sr.
